issue with dual view settings in vista?
i'm using Hp notebook with windows vista and nVidia 8400 card and monitor (19") - hp w1907..
i am able to get dualview settings work where the external monitor works as extension of notebook screen allowing me to a get a larger workspace. the settings is in such a way that notebook is on left and external monitor on right. when i move the mouse from left to right ideally mouse should be visible moving left side(nb) towards right side(external monitor) which happens as long mouse is visible on notebook screen but the moment it shows on external monitor the direction changes from right to left. i tried updating BIOS and display driver. i tried overlapping the screen position under display settings and it also didn't help.
Wow! that is funky. I can't think of any settings that you could change to fix this. Nvidia must have messed up the Vista driver and didn't QA it.
I found this blog. It appears that Nvidia drivers are problimatic with Vista and dual monitor setups. Most of these issues are that the dual-monitor doesn't work at all.

Send an email to NVidia support. At least let them know there is a problem, maybe it will get back to the development people as a bug.
