When Dell sold their Dimension XPS Gen3 computers with a defective heatsink, were they trying to be like GM?
After Dell shipped all those Dimension XPS computers with the defective heatsinks and processor fan configurations - why didn't they contact every single customer who bought one and try to make it right? Why do they charge customers now to fix THEIR mistake???
This attitude of screw the customer is what got GM in the mess they're in. Does Dell really want to follow the same path? I know I'll never buy another Dell. And I'll tell this story to everyone I know who wants to buy a new computer.
No they were trying to save money. If you look at all their products they cut corners especially in the power supplies. Thats pretty bad when their computers are the most overpriced brand there is.
