Ikea bedroom set question?
I'm pretty much done with my current bedroom set; we got it for $2,000+ about 7 years ago and it's a really nice mahogany colored set, but everything is falling apart now; the hinges to some of the drawers have fallen off and the finish looks pretty bad.
I saw a really nice little set on Ikea's website, but I read that particle board isn't really meant to last as long as hardwood.
What do you think? Could I expect an Ikea set to last as long as my hardwood one did?
