So I was wondering if anyone that is using this processor has had any problems with the lower 2.5 ghz when running AutoCad. I know that desktops are more practical for 3d rendering, design, etc. but I am always on the road and could use a mobile option.
The 2630QM, 2720QM,2820QM, 2920XM will all run higher than 2,5 ghz. They all turbo boost on all 4 cores. The 2630QM is lowest at 2.9 ghz
The 2920 will beat a lot of desktop i7 chips head to head. That's how good it is, but it puts out a LOT of heat I'm sure. Looks like it goes up to 3.5 as long as its thermal conditions allow
