Do all PS2 models (Fat PS2) have the power button ribbon?
So I was figuring out how to put a flip top case thing on my PS2, and was watching a tutorial. Now I saw on 2 different tutorials this white ribbon cord type thing connecting the power buttons and the whole PS2 together.. but when I took MY PS2 apart (keep in mind its a fat PS2, just like the ones in the tutorials), it had NO ribbon, yet I could still access where the disc goes and stuff like that.. and after I was done messing with it, it still turned on.
Which brings me to my questions... do all the fat PS2 models have this ribbon?
All PS2's do have the ribbon- you probably haven't found it yet. Make sure your PS2 has been completely removed from the case and you should find it easily enough.
